In the past two months of summer, the company has managed to open 13 gas stations in nine different provinces. In this case, the main locations were Valladolid with the opening of Laguna de Duero; Córdoba with Lucena, Alicante III in the province of Alicante; in Valencia, a total of four openings were registered in Massalfassar, Quart de Poblet L’Alcudia I, and L’Alcudia II.
Furthermore, the province of Málaga also welcomed two Plenoil gas stations located in Pizarra and Mijas Costa. In the south, the company has also opened a station in Lora del Río, Seville, which was highly anticipated by the local residents due to the low prices offered by the leading company in automatic refueling units.
The company’s expansion in the Canary Islands continues to grow, with refueling units opening in Las Palmas and Ingenio over the past two months. Lastly, the north also welcomed the second gas station in Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña.
The increase in fuel prices due to the Ukraine conflict and the current socioeconomic situation has led citizens to focus on obtaining the best market price, which is the main reason they turn to Plenoil refueling units.
According to the study “Hábitos de consumo de combustible en España,” 61.04% of drivers in Spain tend to refuel at low-cost gas stations; of them, half (30.30%) have recently started doing so in order to obtain the lowest possible price.
